I’m trying a new experiment. I’m treating the interior maple with a mixture of Tragacanth gum, Gum Arabic, and caramel. This method is from Sofia Vettori. Looks cool, and supposedly helps the tone.

Do you ever find that your clamping blocks aren’t a perfect fit? Me too! So, I tried using little squares of yoga mat and it worked terrifically! The mat compresses where it needs to compress and makes a nice even amount of clamping force.
